make a statement...eyes

Hey beauties!

So as mentioned in a previous post I’m going to be doing different blog posts on how to make a statement with how you dress and do your make up and things like that.
Today I’m going to be doing about how you can make a statement with your eyes.
The main thing that you can do is to have a really bold and fancy eye make up like a Smokey eye, cat eye or winged eye liner the main idea is to draw as much attention to your eyes as possible.

 Smokey eye

Cat eye

 Winged eye liner

So as you can see all these eye looks is drawing attention to the eyes which is exactly what you want to do.
If you are planning on doing a bold eye look then make sure the rest of your make up is simple because too much bold make up is way over powering!!
So I hope you enjoyed these blog posts and I’ll see you all later!!

17 miracle matte foundation review

hey beauties!!

So today Im going to be doing a review of the 17 miracle matte foundation for you!!

I first found the foundation when I was on boots.com because I was looking for a new foundation, when I first came across this I was immediately drawn in by the packaging because I personally think it’s kind of cute, so I clicked the icon for this and I read some of the reviews, the total stars that the foundation got was 3/5 so that not brilliant but it’s not bad either.

On the boots website there was mixed reviews some saying it was hard to blend and it caked and some saying it blended like a dream and was there H.G product.

I really like this foundation the packaging is cute and reminds me a little of the aussie 3 minute miracle hair treatment...not quite sure why...but anyway I do like the packaging it’s a good size and I can fit my hand around the width of it and you get 30ml of foundation in it which is the average amount.

you get the product out of the bottle by just using the handy little pump and about one and a half pumps is enough to get good coverage for me, the one problem with the pump is that it clogs between uses, like when I next got to use it a hard block like thing falls out first and then all the liquid foundation comes out so that’s a little bit annoying but not overly annoying.

Now what do I think of the actual product...hmmm...well I have to say that the colour matches me perfectly! I’m in the colour porcelain and it completely matches there’s no lines of streaks or blotch it just blends in my skin, but my main problem is that I find the foundation a bit hard to bend, it’s not a smooth as my Barbra Daly one or my rimmel one and you have to RUB your face quite hard to get this to blend in so after all that my face does look a bit red and irritated.

but overall I think that this is a good foundation it has spf 15 and claims to have all day shine control and during the day its doesn’t go patchy so my main problem is the blending an me having to rub my face hard to get it into my skin.

I would recommend this foundation to people with oily to normal skin.

I give this foundation 7/10

Rimmel wake me up foundation review

Hello beauties!

so today this is my first ever review on this blog and its going to be a review of the rimmel wake me up foundation.

After reading alot of reviews about this foundation I decided to give it ago. I bought this from super drug for £5.99 normally it was £8.00 but because it was a new release it was on special offer. There is six shades and after testing them all on my hand I found that number 100 ivory was an EXACT match for my skin.
One of the first things I notest about this product is that in direct light there a shimmer to it which is what makes you look awake.
The second thing I notest about this product is the smell, now i really like the smell and Im surpised that over people arn't to keen on it, at first I thought it had a bit of a citrus smell but now i just cant decided but one things for sure...i like it!
The packing is very good the lid is a neon orange whick obvously goes with the lettering on the front and Rimmel london is embossed in glass on one of the sides.
To get the product from the bottle there is a pump which distributes a small amount of product but for me its enough to cover my whole face and give me good coverage.
I find the coverage very good as it gives me a fawless complection and it lasts though my whole working day (5 hours).
My fave thing about this product has got to be that it has an spf of 15 in it because to be honest im really, really bad about remembering to put sunscreen/sunlotion on so this is very good.

over all i think that this is a very good foundation and i do recomend this to you guys and i think it would be a good investment as i personally think that £8.00 is a little bit pricey but because its so good i will be buying this again!
